1. The service

LearnScrumble is a word game that helps you learn the vocabulary of your job in another language. You choose your own language, the language you want to learn and your profession; the app shows a picture and you spell the word from scrambled letters, with a hint in your language and spoken audio. New words and pictures are created with artificial intelligence and need an internet connection.

Words, translations and pictures are generated by artificial intelligence and shared in a common word library. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, unnatural for your region, or show an object differently from the one used at your workplace. We work to correct mistakes — please tell us when you find one — but we don't guarantee that any content is correct.

4. Free use and the daily limit

• Without a subscription you can answer 20 words per day. The count starts again at midnight (your local time).
• The app checks the current time online, so changing your device's date doesn't reset the count. Deleting and reinstalling the app doesn't reset it either.
• We may change the number of free words or which features are free. Changes don't affect a subscription you have already paid for.

5. Subscriptions

• A subscription unlocks extra features, currently: unlimited words, review of the words you got wrong, and the choice of voice. What's included, the price and the period are shown in the app before you buy.
• Subscriptions are bought through Apple's App Store and charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in the app (Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription) or in your iPhone's Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its rules: reportaproblem.apple.com. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
• Use Restore purchases to get a subscription back on a new or reset device signed in with the same Apple Account.

6. How you may use the app

You may use LearnScrumble for your own learning. You agree not to:

• type offensive, unlawful or hateful text, or other people's personal information, into the profession field;
• try to get around the daily limit or subscription checks;
• copy, scrape or collect the app's words and pictures in bulk, or resell them;
• reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the app or the services it uses;
• use the app in breach of the law or these terms.

7. Content and intellectual property

The app, its design, drawings, animations, sounds and texts belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app and its words and pictures for your own learning while you use the app.

Words and pictures created while you use the app are added to the shared word library and may be shown to other learners. They contain no personal information about you.

8. Changes to the app

We may update the app, add or remove features, or change how words are created, for example to improve quality or security. If we stop the service completely, we'll tell you in advance where possible; subscriptions are handled under Apple's rules.

9. Liability

We provide the app with care, but as far as the law allows we don't guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or that its content is accurate. We are not liable for decisions you make at work based on the app's words or translations (see section 2). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer in your country.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using LearnScrumble at any time by deleting the app (and cancelling any subscription). We may restrict access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of [Poland / your country]. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts. Please contact us first — most problems can be solved quickly.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll publish the new version here with a new effective date and, for important changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply.
